Profile

Bio Sketch

I am working in the area of Agriculture Science with special reference to Agronomy wherein I used to look after day to day research field activities which includes farm- management, extension as well as scientific work related to research and development of Medicinal and Aromatic plants.

So far, the work related to farm management is one of the important areas to utilize minimum resources to get maximum output. This work is very specialized in terms of looking after the entire farm activities in such a way so that farm looks pretty as well as every crop should be placed as per their habitat requirement. The work is also required to effort efficient deployment of labour in such manners so that maximum work might be taken within the working hours.

During the service period I have been associated with various R & D activities on Medicinal and Aromatic plants. Designing of field trial, preparing field operation SOPs data management (field observations, pre-harvest and post-harvest), record keeping, Crop Management, Harvest management, Water Management and Distillation.

Gene bank of various MAPs are being maintained as per the institutional requirement, I used to introduce new plant/ accession / species in the gene bank time to time.  I am also associated with different kind of production activities which includes QPM production, seed production and essential oil of production.

I used to render by service in the different kind of extension activities carried out throughout India in various ongoing mission projects.
