Bio Sketch
Dr. Amol B. Gade is a Scientist at the CSIR–Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR–IIIM), Jammu. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Nitin T. Patil from AcSIR–CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory, Pune in 2018, and later pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Louisville, USA. Prior to joining CSIR–IIIM, he acquired extensive experience in process development and scale-up while working with leading pharmaceutical companies.
At CSIR–IIIM, his research focuses on developing efficient and scalable synthetic routes for APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates. His group is particularly interested in micellar catalysis and iron-catalyzed transformations that align with the principles of green chemistry. The team works on improving synthetic efficiency, minimizing environmental impact, and exploring new routes to bioactive molecules using mechanistic insights and modern synthetic tools.
