Bio Sketch
Dr. Neeta Karjule is a Ramanujan Fellow at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. After that, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, for four years and later spent a year as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany. Dr. Karjule’s research covers areas like materials chemistry, organic synthesis, solar energy conversion, photocatalysis, and water splitting to produce hydrogen for clean energy. She has also worked on fuel cells and flow chemistry using light-driven reactions. At CSIR-IIIM, Dr. Karjule’s research focuses on natural product-based nanomaterials for biomedical applications and the development of smart materials for biological systems. She has published over 30 research papers in top international journals and has received more than 10 national and international awards for her work.
