World Unani Day is observed on February 11 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of social reformer and renowned Unani scholar Hakim Ajmal Khan, widely regarded as the pioneer of Unani medicine in India. The day commemorates his contribution to the growth of Unani medicine in India and throughout the world. CSIR-IIIM in association with CSIR-TKDL is celebrating Unani Day on 13th Feb 2024 at its Branch Lab, Srinagar to prevent exploitation and to protect Indian traditional knowledge at Patent Offices worldwide. Experts are also expected to raise a public awareness of the use of Unani remedies in healthcare. The participants shall also be made to understand as how TKDL, the first of its kind prior-art database of traditional knowledge globally, has proven to be an effective deterrent against bio-piracy

Eligibility Criteria:
Participants who have completed or currently pursuing BUMS /MD (Unani ) or any allied degree in Unani Sciences.

Seats :

40 on First Cum First basis ( as per given eligibility criteria ). The selected candidates shall receive email of their selection by or before 6th Feb 2023 on their registered emails.
