Profile

Bio Sketch

Central goal of our lab is to understand the potential role of inflammation in many aspect of cancer including manipulation of inflammatory system to improve the body’s ability to fight tumors. One of ourstrategy is to explore anti-inflammatory compounds as a modern cancer therapyto target inflammation around the tumors. We are also utilizing gut microbiome modification approach for reducing inflammation in cancer as well as different metabolic diseases.
