Uma Shankar serves as a Technical Assistant in Information Technology Division of CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu.

He was born on 5th Sep 1988 and brought up in a small rural area located in district Bharatpur (Rajasthan), India.

He studied at several Institutions including Birla Technical Training Institute Pilani (Rajasthan), Yagyavalkya Institute of Technology Jaipur (Rajasthan) and Jagannath University Jaipur (Rajasthan) and completed his professional education with Computer Science and Engineering.

Mr Uma Shankar started his career as a Laboratory Technician in Mody University of Science and Technology, located in District Sikar (Rajasthan) and worked with them from 2011 to 2012. Later he joined MNIT (Malaviya National Institute of Technology) Jaipur with the same position and worked with them from 2012 to 2013.

After that he joined CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine Jammu on 1^st April 2013 as a Technical Assistant and Providing ICT Technical Support.
