Bio Sketch
I have done B.Sc in Agricultural Sciences and then completed M.Sc with Grade A distinction in year 2002 from Allahabad Agricultural Institute, Deemed University, Allahabad in Plant Biotechnology. I have qualified ASRB NET 2003 in Agricultural Biotechnology. After completing my M.Sc degree, I joined CSIR IIIM in Biotechnology department and start working in different projects. I did my Ph.D registration in joint collaboration of CSIR IIIM and Department of Biotechnology, Allahabad Agricultural University and start working on some prioritized medicinal plants like Podophyllum hexandrum on various aspects of its Phytochemical screening and profiling and molecular characterization for Molecular assessment and in vitro propagation for mass multiplication and conservation. After completing my Ph.D work, I got an opportunity to work under Ministry of higher education, Govt. of Libya. In year 2011, I was appointed as Scientist fellow in CSIR-IIIM until 2014 and in June 2014 joined CSIR-IIIM as a regular faculty. I have more than 30 International/National publications in the field of Molecular biology, Phytochemical profiling and in-vitro tissue culture studies of some high altitude medicinal and aromatic plants.
