Bio Sketch
Major specialization is Agronomy (Crop Production and Crop Ecology). I have >9 years experience in the field of research and development and expertise in the field of high value Medicinal and Aromatic plants, Biotic and abiotic stress signals on secondary metabolites in medicinal and aromatic plants., Weed management, Integrated Nutrient Management, Organic Farming, Conservation Agriculture for sustaining crop productivity and soil health, Farm Planning and management, Agro-technology development on high value Medicinal and Aromatic plants (MAPs) and other industrially important economic plants. The agro-technology developed at laboratory scale is completely transferring to farmer’s field in societal development programme. I am handling projects as Principle Investigator/Co-PI on Medicinal and Aromatic plants funded by DBT, DST Govt. of India and CSIR. Presently, working as Scientist C and having additional responsibility as Scientist-In-charge, Field Station, Chatha, Jammu. I have more than 30 research paper in reputed National and International Journal.

- Ultra International Team Award in 2018 awarded by EOAI at the International Congress & Expo-2018. This prestigious award received by CSIR-IIIM Director on behalf of all CSIR-IIIM Jammu Team Members working under the project of CSIR-Aroma Mission. This award contains a citation and cash award of Rs.1,00,000/-was given to the team for its contribution in implementing the mission and the Aroma Industry.
- Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) 2010 conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
- National Fellowship in 2009 during the Ph. D. programme in BHU funded by University Grand Commission (UGC).
- Secured 12th rank in All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) in 2005 conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Agronomy discipline.
