Remarks: A shrub or small tree with spiny slender glabrescent branches. Leaves 4-10 x 1.5-4 cm, ovate lanceolate, acute or acuminate, serrate, younger leaves densely woolly, with a rounded or subcordate base ; Flowers sessile, 2 mm in diameter, greenish yellow .
