Remarks: A  very  variable  , perennial  herb . Leaves orbicular , elliptic - lanceolate , elliptic or oblong , ending in  a short - curved  point ;  flowers  pinkish  mauve , purple or  blue , occasionally  white  in short ,  erect  racemes  or  occasionally  solitary.
