| Remarks: Annual phlox is a weedy, patch-forming herb that is low-growing to 15 in tall. Leaves are covered with glandular hairs. In spring it displays showy, five-lobed tubular flowers that can be white, red, magenta, lavender, or pink and usually have a lighter-colored "eye" in the center. |
