Remarks: Tufted perennial; culms 25-40cm high, erect. Leaf-blades flat or rarely convolute, 3-15cm long, 1-2 mm wide, Spikelets (2-)3-4(-5)-flowered, broadly wedge-shaped, 4-6mm long, greenish or pallid and tinged with yellow or brown.
