Remarks: Stem 2-4 ft.  weak , base rooting ; nodes villous . Leaves  erect , ligule truncate. Panicle oblong , branches suberect  or  spreading  flexuous , few fld . Spikelets  dimidate - oblong , smooth or scaberulous , pale green .
