| Remarks: Tufted annual; culms 15-60 cm. high. Leaf-blades flat or rolled, 3-15 cm. long, 1-3 mm. wide Spikelets 6-35-flowered, narrowly oblong, 3-10 mm. long, 1-1.5 mm. wide, the florets diverging at 45 and 3-4 times as long as the internode, greyish green or tinged with pink, breaking up from the base. |
