Remarks: Annuals; culms tufted, geniculate, 4-5-noded; 20-60 cm tall, 1 mm in diameter. Blades linear,5-15 cm long, 3-7 mm wide; ligule 3-6 mm long, apex fringed. Panicle oblong. Spikelets 1-flowered, oblong-elliptical, 2-2.5 mm long.
