Remarks: Tall , evergreen  , pyramidal  tree.   Leaves  dark  green   , stiff  , acicular  , forward  directed  and  scattered  all  round  the  branchlets  , pungent.  Male  catkins  solitary , erect , 2.5 cm long , sessile  in the  axils  of  upper  leaves.
