| Remarks A large evergreen shrub with a short stem ; 2-3- chotomously branched, glabrous with pairs of divaricate simple or branched thorns at the nodes. Leaves coriaceous , glabrous and shining on both surfaces , elliptic - ovate or obovate, sometimes elliptic - oblong , obtuse or mucronate. Flowers in terminal lax cymes , white or pale pink , inodorous. |
