| Remarks: A large woody stellately pubescent straggling shrub with dark bluish green leaves; leaves oblong - lanceolate , acute or acuminate, glabrous on both sides, petioles short, less than 6 mm , bruised leaves smell like cinnamon ; flowers reddish , solitary , terminal or leaf - opposed, 2.5 cm in diameter , stamens with anthers concealed by the overlapping connectives , carpels, numerous , scarlet - red; seeds chestnut brown. |
