| Remarks: A shrub or small tree, nearly evergreen. Leaves 2-3 in. long , stalked , oblong or oblong- lanceolate , obtuse or acuminate, base acute , glaucous beneath, pubescent when young. Flowers stalked , inserted on short branchlets. The flowers are produced in clusters of 3-4 , each flower 1.5-3 cm across, with three large petals and three minute ones, yellow- green spotted purple at the base. |
