- 12 years of research experience on Pharmacokinetics and Toxicity of drugs/drug-like molecules in Bioequivalence Study Centre (Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata) and Pharmacology Division (earlier PK-PD Toxicology Division, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu).
- 4 years of experience on Standardization & profiling of drugs/drug products as per regulatory guidelines in Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, MoHFW, Ghaziabad, India.
- Awarded fellowship by UGC for pursuing M. Pharm. & Ph.D degree.
- Secured 96.62 percentile in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2007.
- Received ‘Best Paper Award’ in ‘PHARMACON-2010’ in East Regional Conference of Indian Pharmacological Society at Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India.

Area of Expertise
- Bioanalysis: Bioanalytical method development and validation of drug/drug-like molecule in biological matrices by HPLC or LC-MS/MS as per regulatory guidelines.
- Pharmacokinetics (in-vitro/ex-vivo/in-situ): Biopharmaceutical profiling of drug/drug-like molecule viz. lipophilicity (logP/logD), ionization constant (pka), chemical stability (SGF/SIF), permeability (PAMPA/perfusion model), transporter activities (P-gp), plasma stability, plasma protein binding, RBC partitioning, metabolic stability, Brain permeability, CYP inhibition.
- Pharmacokinetics (in-vivo): Pharmacokinetic study of drug/drug-like molecule in animal models through different routes viz. bioavailability, dose proportionality, tissue distribution, toxicokinetics as well as disease-state pharmacokinetics.
- Drug interaction: Effect of natural products (druggable/dietary supplement/food additive) on pharmacokinetics of drugs under the purview of enhancement in plasma concentration of drugs for improved efficacy and reduced toxicity.
- CYP modulation: Understanding of CYP regulation in the disease-states (Hepatotoxicity/Cancer/Alzheimer’s Disease) for identification of suitable phytotherapy.
