Remarks: Erect to sprawling or prostrate, slightly woody, perennial, broad-leaved, herbs (with hairy stems and strong taproot), up to 0.6 m high, 0.8 m in diameter. Leaves alternate, spiral, simple, petiolate or subsessile or sessile (basal leaves petiolate), petiole 1.3-3(-30) mm long. Flowers Solitary (forming a leafy spike), axillary; predominantly yellow or orange, regular, sessile, perianth 2 -whorled. |
